A special class lead acid baterry for new generation ultra sophiestical submarine now available in the world. Actual performance level of the battery have been observed to be one of the best in the world. Weight of the battery amounts to about 250 MT, consisting of 528 single cells placed in battery pitsm thus enabling maximum utilization of available volume for energy storage and giving necessary ballast at the same time. Energy denisty at 100 hr rate of discharge exceeds 48 Wh/kg.
